Havila Holding’s objective is to secure progress and prosperity. Value creation and social advancement are important for us.
Each year, we support good causes in the local community as well as the work of Stefanus Alliance International and Stephen's Children. This non-profit charity was founded and is headed by Maggie Gobran, otherwise known as Mama Maggie. Dressed all in white, she brings light to Egypt’s 8–10 million Coptic Christians and is revered for her work on behalf of Cairo’s slum children. She left a promising academic career to help the children who live in Cairo’s “Garbage City”. Mama Maggie currently runs one of the largest aid projects for the poor in the Middle East. Every day, more than 32,000 children receive food, medical care, schooling – and hope.
Havila Holding considers applications for financial support twice a year. The deadlines for applications are 15 March and 15 October.
